Camping Carso - Bio camping
The camping agrituristico Carso (Farmhouse camping Carso) is part of a family driven agricultural company situated in the heart of the Karst of Trieste, an environment rich of biodiversity because of the geographic location and in particular the geologic environment. The camping site is situated a few kilometres from Trieste and main sites with historical, cultural and naturalistic interest will allow you to spend an exciting holiday.
The camping site has 10.000 sq.m. and is characterized by a forest of oak and ash, that will guarantee nice large shadow places, all provided with an electrical connection. Next to the campsite are the farm's organic vegetable gardens and an apiary.
In the farm shop, you can purchase fresh vegetables and our own products, such as preserves, beer, honey, and extra virgin olive oil. There is also a selection of typical local products.
The campsite features a swimming pool, playground, barbecue area, and a relaxation room with Wi-Fi access.

The campsite is open from April to September, with the possibility of
additional opening days in October.
The reception is open from 8.00 to 12.00 and from 15.00 to 20.00.

Climbing support: information and advice to discover the many cliffs in the area that offer various climbing routes are available at the reception.

Birthday parties for children: throughout the year it is possible to organize birthday parties on the camping using the facilities of the playground, BBQ area and the swimming pool.
Gasoline is available at low prices in Slovenia (8 km distance)
Public transport
Public transport by bus: a direct bus line to Trieste centre and to the sea (Sistiana bay, Baia di Sistiana). The bus stop is right in front of the camping entrance.
Public transport by boat: from the Sistiana Bay it is possible to travel very comfortable by boat to Grignano, Barcola and Trieste.
Public transport by train: numerous departures from the railway stations in Trieste or Monfalcone offer you the possibility to arrive in Venezia within 1,5 hours.
